Statement In Response to the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Countries delivered by the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Armenia at the 1042nd Meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council

Mr. Chairman,
We took note of the statement of the Delegation of France on behalf of the Minsk Group Co-Chair countries. Its content will be duly communicated to the capital.
At this stage, we would like to reiterate the points of the statement of the Delegation of Armenia, made earlier.
We would also like to stress that Armenia supports the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principles of the non-use of force or the threat of force, equal rights and self-determination of peoples and territorial integrity, as it was outlined in the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries, delivered by France.
Finally, we reiterate our position on the non-constructive approach of the Delegation of Azerbaijan. The title of the current issue, raised by Azerbaijan distorts the nature and essence of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and undermines the peace process. Therefore, we will not take the floor under such agenda item.
